COLAC AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB
At a meeting of amateur photographers, held on 27th July at Fire Brigade Hall, Colac, it was decided to form a club, to be named the Colac Amateur Photographic Club and the entrance fee was fixed at 5s. yearly, payable in advance, with a nomination fee of 1s. The following officers were elected:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS 1905 - 1906 |
PRESIDENT Dr. Loughnan |
Vice-President: Mr. W. Jenkins |
Hon. Secretary: Mr. Ralph Forbes |
Hon. Treasurer: Mr. Ralph Forbes |
Committee: Mr. J. Barr |
Committee: Mr. A. Angoir |
Committee: Mr. W. Holmes |
The committee will meet at an early date to draw up a syllabus for the first six months. A club of this kind should prove of great mutual to members, and as there is a large number of amateur photographers in the town and district the club should have a prosperous future if it receives the support it deserves. We heartily congratulate the active members of this new club on the step they have taken, and wish them every success.
