The President Mr. Robinson, gave an interesting talk on exposure and development, and Mr. Wilson followed with an explanation of his printing and development technique. His claim that it will produce the best possible results from any given negative was well substantiated by the prints submitted.

Closing date for the Circle's Annual Exhibition is 17th November. The Exhibition will be held on 17th December, open to district amateurs. Further particulars from the Hon.Secretary Mr. T.D. McGee.

A discussion centered around the former competition, as the majority of entries consisted of child portraits and the judges contended that these did not represent a typical Australian who would be recognized as such if the print did not bear a title. A member went so far as to assert that an aboriginal would be the only recognizable typical Australian!

The President, Mr. Robinson, gave an interesting talk on grain in emulsions, illustrated by photo-micrographs. Mr. Jenkins color slides were much appreciated.

There are vacancies for two members. Information from the Hon.Secretary.
