HURSTVILLE CAMERA CLUB
A meeting was held in the Council Chambers, Hurstville, on Monday last for the purpose of forming a camera club in Hurstville. Mr. A.H. Wennholm was voted to the chair and explained the objects of the meeting. It was decided that the membership fee should be 2/6 per quarter for adults (ladies and gentlemen) and 1/- per quarter for persons under 16 years of ago. It is intended to secure, lecturers to explain to the members the more intricate phases of photography. Further particulars can be obtained from Mr. V.J. Cornell, Hon. Secretary.

There will be a Meeting of members of the Hurstville Camera Club, also intending members, on Tuesday, 16th October, at 8.15pm, in the Council Chambers, Hurstville, to elect a President and Secretary, also to arrange for a Lecture on "Elementary Photography". Subscriptions: Adults 2/6 per quarter, juniors under 16 1/- per quarter.

On Tuesday 29th October, at the Council Chambers, Hurstville, Mr. Brewer will give a Lecture on Amateur Photography at 8pm. Anyone who has a camera or takes an interest in Photography is invited to be present by the Hurstville Camera Club. No charge.

Under the auspices of the Hurstville Camera Club Mr. G. Brewer will give a free public lecture on "Photography" in the Hurstville Council Chambers next Tuesday evening.

HURSTVILLE CAMERA CLUB
At a meeting held at the Forest Pharmacy on August 12th the Club was officially formed, its constitution adopted and committee appointed. A movie section was formed and it is hoped that this will attract many new members.

The headquarters of the Club will be at the Railway Institute, Forest Road, Hurstville, and meetings will be held on alternate Mondays at 8pm. Anyone interested may contact either Mr. B. Watkins, Forest Pharmacy, Hurstville (Tel. LU5471), or Mr. L. Richards, 49 Arcadia Street, Penshurst (Tel. LU3191), after 7pm.

Mr. B. Townsend, of Kodak Limited, has arranged to give two lectures at the Club’s headquarters, one on Monday, September 21st, taking as his subject “Composition,” and the other on Monday, October 19th, when he will address members on “Enlarging”. All members and intending members will be cordially welcomed at these lectures.
