On Wednesday 30th May, at the School of Arts, about twenty persons attended a preliminary meeting, called for the purpose of forming a Camera Club.

The club was duly formed, to be known as the Junee District Camera Club, and the membership was fixed at 1/ entrance fee, and 1/ per quarter.

A small sub-committee was appointed to draft a set of rules, to be submitted for approval at a future meeting of members. All present signified their intention of joining, and an equal number who could not attend the meeting will considerably augment the ranks.

The following officers were elected: President, Dr. H.G. Button; Vice-Presidents, Messrs. J.V. M'Carney and R.N. Bull; Hon.Secretary, Mr. E.A. Pegg; Hon. Treasurer, Mr. T.S. Henderson; committee, Messrs. A. Bennett, P.D. Greentree, W. Fraser, W. Crapp, W.H. Turner, W. Newnham, and H. M'Donald.

The proceedings were very enthusiastic, and it is expected that the club will boom. Monthly competitions will be arranged, and practical demonstrations will be given once a month, which is how often the club decided to meet.
