MT. MORGAN CAMERA CLUB
The usual monthly meeting of the Mt. Morgan Camera Club was held on the 5th August, at the School of Arts, and there was a splendid roll up of the members. After the usual business, which included arrangements for an outing on the 19th August, to go over the mine, a demonstration in developing was commenced by Mr. Baldwin, vice-president. Our worthy vice-president first read a paper thoroughly explaining the different developers, and how to use them, and also gave us some very valuable hints, which were well worth remembering; and, taking the paper all through, it was listened to with a very great amount of interest, and on terminating was received with applause. Mr. Baldwin now mixed up one of the developers, Amidol, and used it on some of the plates which the members had brought to be developed, and every plate turned out to the entire satisfaction of all present. At the close of the meeting Mr. Baldwin received a very hearty vote of thanks for his really interesting and instructive evening.

MT. MORGAN CAMERA CLUB
The usual monthly meeting of the Mt. Morgan Camera Club was held on the 7th October, at Dr. MacKenzie’s rooms, the demonstration being one of bromide work by the President, Mr. Davies, but, owing to that gentleman’s indisposition, Mr. Whane, the company’s photographer, officiated. An invitation from the Rockhampton Camera Club read, asking the club to join them in an outing on the 9th November next. This was received with applause, and accepted. Mr. Whane, in opening his demonstration, thoroughly explained the developer he was about to use, after which he exposed a number of negatives upon Pearl and other bromide papers, and, with out exception, succeeded in obtaining splendid results. After this Mr. Whane and Dr. MacKenzie took flashlight photographs of those present, and developed them at once, securing an excellent result. A very hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Whane for his most instructive evening brought the meeting to a close.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS 1906 - 1907

Mr. D. Baldwin
Vice-President:

Dr. MacKenzie was thanked very heartily for his kindness in allowing the club to meet at his rooms, and also for the use of his beautifully fitted up dark-room for demonstrations. Mr. F. Wham gave a demonstration on enlarging by gaslight, first explaining the rules of distance from lens to paper, which, when used, saved a great deal of bother, as the paper could be placed at the correct distance at once.

Exposures were made and really beautiful results obtained on various kinds of paper. After three hours demonstrating, the meeting closed with a very hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Wham for his most instructive lecture and demonstration.
