ROCKHAMPTON RAILWAY CAMERA CLUB
A meeting of the newly-formed Rockhampton Railway Camera Club was held in their rooms, Derby and George streets on Wednesday, 9th February, and a very pleasant evening was spent. Several ladies have joined, and others intend joining at the next meeting. Six new members were proposed, which brings the membership up to 30. This speaks well for those gentlemen who have worked hard to bring this club into existence. One of the principal aims of the club is to instruct beginners in the art of photography. Several members intend giving trophies to beginners, also to those more advanced, so there is likely to be some keen competition, as a good number of the present members are well up in the art. A good dark room is being fitted up with all necessary appliances, and will be available at any time. The fee is within the reach of all, being 1s. initiation and 1s. per month.
