SALE CAMERA CLUB
On Friday night, the 8th September, was held the inaugural meeting of the Sale Camera Club. A very promising beginning was made by the 20 members who met in a studio generously made available by Radio Station 3TR. A Constitution was drawn up and approved. The Club’s thanks is extended to Kodak Ltd. and the Melbourne Camera Club for valuable assistance in this direction.

Office-bearers elected for the year are: President, E. Evans; Vice-President, J.T.D. Pescott; Executive Committee, Miss F. Dixon and L.S. Booth; Hon.Secretary, G.F. Horn.

Two features helped to make the evening interesting, helpful and enjoyable. They were: firstly, the showing of an excellent collection of prints from the Melbourne Camera Club. These prints really gave members an idea of what can be done by an active club. Secondly, a selection of 8mm movie films screened by T, Hackett. These included one exposed by A.M. McFarline on his recent visit to Queensland. Members discussed the films and Tom Hackett was warmly thanked by fellow members for his services as both cameraman and projectionist.
