BURWOOD (N.S.W.) SUPERIOR PUBLIC SCHOOL CAMERA CLUB
The Burwood Superior Public School Camera Club has now been in existence some 15 months. During that period some enthusiastic work has been done. It is all the more to the credit of the lads that it has been done under difficulties, as all the work had to be put through during odd minutes of the school day. There is only one small “dark-room” to serve about 20. From time to time short outings have been taken to the city, Parramatta, Mortlake, Cabarita, and Enfield districts, and studies made in the school locality.

The departure of many of the boys to other high schools, as a result of successful examinations, renders reorganization necessary. Great interest has been evidenced in the competition promoted by Mr. Clement Toogood, Kodak dealer, Burwood. The prizes were as follow: First: Folding Brownie Camera, presented by Kodak (Australasia) Ltd., won by Arthur Denison; second: Brownie camera, presented by Mr. Toogood, Allen Lemartz; third: Enlarger, presented by Mr. Toogood, Keith Upton; fourth, Arthur Denison. The prints were judged by the editor of the A.P-R., and found to be of good quality all round.
