VICTORIAN RAILWAYS INSTITUTE PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
On 23rd September a very interesting lecture was given by Mr. Howieson, of the Railway Photographic Branch, the subject being Isochromatic Photography. The lecturer demonstrated the advantages of using color correct plates by means of illustrative prints and charts and with the aid of a spectroscope. Mr. Howieson advocated the use of panchromatic plates, and the results he showed were amply sufficient to justify his recommendation. Members took exceptional interest in this demonstration and showed their appreciation accordingly.
