Patricia Beal FRPS, FAPS, APSA, PPSA, Hon FAPS

Residing in Sydney, Patricia has been involved in international exhibition photography for over 30 years. Initially a transparency worker, these days her images are digitally obtained. Patricia gained Fellowships from both the Royal Photographic Society and the Australian Photographic Society, with self-processed colour prints from her transparencies. Currently she exhibits in Open, Nature and PhotoTravel projected image sections of exhibitions. With retirement has come more time to travel, especially in more remote areas, and the enjoyment of sharing images from more diverse places of origin.

Patricia gained her FRPS, Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society in 1990 and FAPS, Fellowship from the Australian Photographic Society in 1990 and achieved the PPSA in 2000 in CPID.

Patricia was awarded Hon FAPS from the Australian Photographic Society in 2005 for her service to the Society.

    Kerry Boytell EFIAP, FAPS

Kerry lives in Sydney and has been involved in photography for over 35 years. Kerry was a keen darkroom worker for many years, before embracing the digital era. She has judged nationals and internationals in Australia for many years. Kerry was invited in 2011 to judge the 1st PSSA International Digital Salon of Photography in South Africa and also be a keynote speaker.

Kerry has won many awards in both Nationals and Internationals and is President of the North Sydney Leagues Photographic Society in Sydney. She is interested in all aspects of photography but is especially keen on nature photography and the creative aspect of photography.

Kerry gained AAPS in 2006, AFIAP in 2008, FAPS in 2009, EFIAP in 2012.

    Roy Killen AFIAP, PPSA, FAPS

Roy frequently judges photographic competitions at club, national and international level, and presents workshops on photography and image editing.

Roy gained his AAPS in 2011, AFIAP in 2012, PPSA in 2012, FAPS in 2012

Tim Newbery AFIAP, AAPS, Hon EFIAP, Hon FAPS

Tim has been interested in wildlife photography since he emigrated to Australia in 1966. Initially to record life histories of Australian moths and butterflies he soon stretched his horizons to all wildlife subjects.

Tim is an internationally awarded wildlife photographer and judge and has taught photography for the WEA for some 25 years.

Whilst his love is wildlife he enjoys taking pictures of people and landscapes. In all these cases he strives to capture the moment rather than staged pictures. Tim believes strongly, that it is better to get it right on the camera rather than relying on software to fix mistakes later.

Tim gained his AFIAP in 1975, Hon FAPS in 1982, Hon EFIAP in 1987, AAPS in 1997

    Tony Parkes AFIAP, FAPS

Tony first developed his love of photography after being rendered a Quadriplegic that confined him to a wheelchair, 35 years ago. Twenty five years ago he discovered another side of photography, National and International Exhibitions which appealed to his competitive nature. He discovered achieving success at these exhibitions was not easy but this made him work harder on his photography skills. His effort was rewarded when he was asked to judge his first National Exhibition in 1990. He has since judged many National and International Exhibitions.

Tony has a main photographic interest in Photo Journalism especially sports photography but his true passion is photographing birds in their natural environment, which can be very challenging and he has achieved success in both the Sport and Wildlife categories. For many years he has entered National and International Exhibitions and gained many awards. During this period he was very prominent in Australian Photography either by winning categories or being well placed behind some brilliant Australian bird Photographers who were the best in Australia and Internationally.

Tony gained his AAPS in 1991, FAPS in 1997 and AFIAP in 1998.

    Dawn Zandstra AAPS, FCC ESA

Dawn has had an avid interest in photography for many years. From the beginning Dawn was interested in producing images that were imaginative and creative. The world of digital photography opened this world, and she was able to progress from her work with transparencies to a world with unknown horizons. This has been a most rewarding journey as there are absolutely no limits to the creative fields for photographers.

Dawn has judged in NSW camera clubs, National and International competitions since 1996.

During the last six years Dawn has been presenting exhibitions of creative photography to various groups. She really believes photography is an art form to be explored to the limits of the photographers imagination.
